Liverpool will wear Carlsberg on their shirts for the final time at Anfield this weekend, but it'll be with a difference.
The Danish brewers' name has adorned the Reds jersey at every home game over the last 18 years, but as Carlsberg prepare to sign off as the club's shirt sponsors at the end of the season their name will be displayed in Chinese language for the clash with Chelsea on Sunday.
With Liverpool the only UK city exhibiting at World Expo in Shanghai, Carlsberg officials came up with the idea of interacting with the club's massive fan base in China.
This will translate to, Liverpool will wear the original Carlsberg on their jersey for the last time at Anfield tonight, a second-leg Europa League semi-final against Atletico Madrid.
As much as I love the sponsor ,18 years with them and no premier league title.
Hopefully the Chinese font will change our luck.
Whatsoever, the jersey will never be the same without Carlsberg on it, but what to do?
Carlsberg's amount of sponsorship is among the lowest if compare to other big English teams, perhaps this is the right time to restart everything all over again.
Liverpool and Carlsberg billateral relationship has shown their loyalty, I am sure the fans will feel weird without seeing Carlsberg on the jersey.
The atmosphere of the match against Atletico Madrid is gonna be fantastic, let's hope that the lightning will strike for the third time in Anfield, and Liverpool shall overturn the deficit with the help of Kop's roar and chants like how they did against Lille and Benfica.
It is true that Liverpool is the first English team that was being knocked out in Champions League this season, but not many people would expect Liverpool is the only Big Four that is able to remain in European cup tie at this moment, and together with Fulham, they both restored the pride of England after Manchester United and Arsenal both failed to qualify semi-final.
Yeah, Europe League is not really something for some people, but when you realize how terrible Liverpool was during the entire season, you will know how important and how desperate they need to win tonight.
8August09, Liverpool pre-season friendly match against Atletico Madrid @ Anfield.
Co-incidentally, the fixtures come true, but let's wish the result will not repeat later.
But ofcourse, after what Liverpool has went thru this season, I must say a silverware cant replace our dissapointment, but atleast it can serve as a consolation for us.
~YNWA~ and keep in faith....
atleast for the next 2hours, hehe!

Remembering Hillsborough
21 years ago over 20,000 LFC fans went to watch the 1989 FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest. 96 never returned home.
Today, in 15th April, Liverpool Football Club will be remembering each of those who lost their lives in Hillsborough, Sheffield.
Unfortunately, to date, nobody in authority has been punished for their role in what happened that day.
You will never walk alone.
The Sun’s controversial headline of reporting Hillsborough Disaster 1989 is an example of the moral panics issue. In Hillsborough Disaster, The Sun overstretched their power of influence to dominate this controversial issue for commercial interest.
The Truth by The Sun
The Sun distribute the front-page headline “THE TRUTH”, with three sub-headlines,
written
“Some fans picked pockets of victims”,
“Some fans urinated on the brave cops”,
“Some fans beat up PC giving kiss of life”.
These headlines contradict to the truth that Liverpool fans actually helped the security personnel for carried away the victims and giving first-aid to the injured.
The Sun not only distorted the truth, but they also wrote “THE TRUTH” in all capital letters in the front-page headline, which is eye-catching to the reader.
The Truth by Kop
These over-dramatized and sensationalized headlines are biased, and it misleads the public to stereotype Liverpool F.C. fans as a threat to society.
The Sun overstretch their power to dominate public opinion, to see football hooligan as the cause of Hillsborough Disaster.
The Sun did not blame the police for their mismanagement, but they were shifting the focus to blame on Liverpool F.C. fans.
The Sun treat Hillsborough Disaster as an opportunity to make money, because they realize mass injury disaster can be used to create chaos and it can get immediate reward.
The Sun manipulate the controversial issue by accusing Liverpool F.C. fans for urinating on the cops. In this case, Liverpool F.C. fans do not have their chance to defend themselves.
The media has distorted the truth and sensationalized the news for social affairs newsworthy, and this is not acceptable.
Today, you wont see The Suns in Liverpool,
never....ever....
Liverpool Memorial
taken by me on 8August2009.
I have seen this memorial with my own eye,
I cant say that I understand how the Liverpooldian and Kop fans feel,
but I definitely felt the sorrow and pain when I saw their face.
Hillsborough Disaster 1989,
shall not be forgotten.
May the 96fans R.I.P.,
God bless their family.

from student to JOB
Now we are no longer student, but an employee, a worker, doesnt really matter how do you call it.
I have found a phenomenon among friends, people start talking about their own job, their own working life....bla bla....but seldom we talk about those days we went thru together as a student.
It's nice to have new chapter in our life and we move on,
that's a good and mature attitude.
But, I think most of the time,
people wanted to get others' attention about happen to his/her working life,
they learn when to talk but they forget when to listen.
First of all, as I always did, I need to clarify that this blog entry doesnt meant to criticize any single person that I met in my life, but in fact I only wish to criticize the phenomenon.
When we were labelled as student, all of us were same, is like, we have the same blood in our body and we were wearing the same flesh and cloths.
That unify all of us.
But the working life actually separate all of us into different kind of job category.
Now, we have friends who work for media, non-media, production, non-production, office, non-office, thiz and that.
The problem of the people is,
they wish other people can understand more about themselves,
but they doesnt realize the same+opposite conversation intention.
Which is why,
I found one huge problem in a group conversation is that,
people cant stop talking about what happen to themselves without listening to the others.
Now, why do we need gathering?
why do we need chit-chating session?
why do we need to meet up?
why do we need to talk?
Ofcourse it is meant for one to share his/her story to the other, vice-versa.
I didnt mean that one should not talk about his/her story in a group conversation, don't get me wrong.
What I mean is, we should start listening to the other.
There are people who need our help and encouragement,
I knew some of my friends are having a bad time, they are not happy, but nobody is there to listen.
I believe everyone cares about the others in the world,
but I also believe many ppl is too careless to neglect the others who need cares.
I have seen many meaningless group conversation, no point.
I didnt mean that every single conversation must have point, but atleast the minimum requirement is that everyone can participate in the conversation.
When we were student, we share the same laughter and same jokes,
but now I have seen different sub-conversations among a group gathering.
And when one didnt get enough attention in a group conversation,
he/she will start mumbling and complaining how bad their job are,
then when one start gaining attention he/she will start to show off how good their job are.
Example,
First phase: Aiya, my job very susah la, everyday do this everyday do that, so tired lar.
Second phase: But then nvmla~~~~alternative 1. I can see this superstar, 2. I can get many freegift, 3. I can know more people then good for my future, 4. my company pay me well...
Once again, dont get me wrong, no offence to any one of my fren.
The problem, or phenomenon is~~
I found many one of us actually like our job, and the worse part is, they want to prove it that their job is better than the other.
I have heard one bloody fool said,
'Aiya, you guys sit at aircon room don't understand our painful experience wanla'
It doesnt sounds like a complain, it sounds like an insult for person who work in aircon room.
Today I tell you what,
if that bloody fool has one chance in a lifetime to sit in an aircon room,
HE WOULD DEFINITELY SIT ON THE COUCH AND BARK~"Harr.......'' like a dog.
because now he would realize how great it is to rest inside an aircon room.
He is talking like~
those people who sit inside an aircon room is a fucking lazy pig who dont understand the meaning of working.
He is the one who choose to become he himself,
who he is right now,
no one is forcing him in fact.
The problem is, he is actually enjoying his working life,
and he want to prove that he is better by insulting the other.
Now what hinder the progress of sharing story is that,
this person has building a wall or creating a boundary betwen he himself with the other.
Working in an aircon room or an office shouldnt become a reason of one being insulted and working in a non-aircon location doesnt mean that you have something to shout or to be proud of, vice versa.
After all, this is our job.
Everyone should pay respect to the others and stop creating boundary with each other because of different working life.
Non-media thinks the media cannot earn money.
Media thinks the non-media are not loyal to their studying subject.
Production people thinks they are cool,
non-production people thinks production people are KULI.
People who work in big and famous company thinks that they are greater,
what is the point in the end?
For me, I work in both field before, non-production and production, non-media and media.
I enjoy all of these jobs really.
What matter the most, is what I learned, not what I earned~in terms of job position or title.
Is that really important to become a so called DIRECTOR but actually you're not one?
I am a reporter now,
but what define me as a news reporter is not what the job position written in my namecard,
in fact, it is what I know and what I am capable of.
I always believe that anyone can be a news reporter,
listen and salin only ma, how susah could it be?
you try try and see lar, then you will know it is not easy.
Ofcourse everyone can be a reporter,
But, the difference is, are you one good reporter?
As a biz reporter, some people actually told me that entertainment news reporter is like a dog.
I refuse to believe that, it's their job anyway.
The difference of biz reporter and E-news reporter is the news they covered,
but that doesnt make one identity greater than another.
If I can choose again, I will choose to expose myself to biz news instead of E-news,
no doubt about that.
But one thing for sure, my decision is not based on the dog a.k.a. Paparazzi issue,
but instead I wish to learn more about biz news as I found it is more important and solid than the E-news do.
After all, different type of reader or audiences need to consume different kind of news.
We're equally important.
This is real working life, not internship.
A job position as cameraman, producer, writer, senior thiz senior that, professional thiz professional that doesnt define you as a succesful person, but it is your own capability who make you who you are.
So,
Please, go ahead to find a high-salary job,
go ahead to find your favourite job,
go ahead to find a job nearby your house,
go ahead to find an office-admin job,
go ahead to sell insurance,
go ahead to do your production.
I support you, my friend.
Really, I do.
As long as you're happy, then go ahead.
We all should learn how to respect, but not insulting the others.
We need a job, we need to earn money to survive.
It's their job anyway, not yours, why bother?
I know this entry is quite sharp, but frankly, the phenomenon is what I wish to emphasize, not the people.
Bear in mind, no offence~no offence~
But if you insist to get offended, go f**k yourself!
This is JT a.k.a. Dark Shadow,
good night,
and good luck.
