welcome to Liverpool

SymphonyNo.7 in A Major, Allegretto by Beethoven,
absolutely masterpiece.

It create my own atmosphere on the plane,
it build another space for my mind.

Ironically this music was used by the disaster movie 'Knowing',
not to forget the long-take plane crash scene.

Ok, after another 7hours,
served with breakfast and coffee,
here we are in UK.

It was Weixiang who sit beside me in the Abu Dhabi flight to Manchester.
While we are on the sky of Manchester,
I remembered he hand me his camera and said,
'Wei, take some photos for me'.

Photobucket
Here we are, UK, so anticipated liao

After being stucked in airport imigration for hours,
finally we can exit Manchester Airport and we saw LJMU staff are waiting.

Bopet and Weisin wanted to go to toilet,
me and Hsien waiting.

LJMU staff urge us to move,
but we told them we have to wait for someone else.

Everybody is waiting for someone isnt it?

First thing I see in UK,
a young couple were kissing and hugging like nothing happen.

Ofcoz that doesnt shock me la,
but still,
I can start to feel UK already.

Goin out the airport and put in our luggage into the bus,
now I can breath the air in UK.

But damn, the weather is so so hot man,
not like what I imagine lor,
finished my Snicker's bar I bought in KLIA,
take off my jacket,
go into the bus.

But the driver didnt turn on the engine,
go green and energy-savin in UK huh?

So hot, so uncomfortable, cant breath.

Whatsover, on our way to Liverpool,
the scenery is so beautiful.

Green grass, sheep, farms.
Hmm....typical UK highway scenery in fact,
but the firstime is like....you know....
keep snapping photos thiz and that.

Exit from the highway, we are reaching Liverpool soon,
and we saw....

Photobucket
never see this in my whole life,
this is special, this is UK.

OK, reach Liverpool liao~~~
I remembered Elaine said 'Welcome to Liverpool',
and I saw a huge banner written '08 European Capital of Culture'.

This is it, this is the moment.
I am here in Liverpool, finally!!!

Allright,
I think that's all for tonight,
and in the next post I'm gonna flashback to our memorable hostel,
'Atlantic Point'.

Today's history of Liverpool to be continued.

The beginning of Odyssey

365days ago,
I just wake up from my late nap after finish watching Champions League final,
and I realize it's 3pm something.

My family members are coming home,
everyone seems like very busy and ask me has I prepared.

Some of them just finish schooling,
some of them take half day leave,
just because they want to send me to the airport.

For them,
this is a very historic date,
this is the day when they are proud of their son and brother,
seriously I can feel that in my heart.

I've been checking my passport, offer letter, banker draft and cash for the thousand times,
finally I get to put my luggage into my car.

Another huge hand luggage with Kinder Brueno's design is on my lap,
and a heavy laptop bag (wit laptop ofcoz) below my knees.

Ok, let's go.
First thing to do,
contact with my darling weisin.

She is on her way,
good to hear that.

The moment my dad take the exit to highway,
I can feel that my journey has began,
that's why everytime I drive thru that exit I will automatically think back to this moment.

Here I am in KLIA,
oh my luggage is damn heavy wei.

My sister is searching the luggage trolley for me,
I am stunned in the main entrance,
I don't know what to do.

My mum start searching the trolley for me as well,
me standing in the middle with luggage all over my arms,
I cant do anything.

My mind fly away to another place,
I duno where,
I just feel so.....mixed....yet I feel nothing.

When I go in to the terminal,
ya~ Terminal A~
it's all the way to the end.

First person I see is Derique,
the feeling of excitement is getting stronger,
frankly, if you asked me did I ever feel keberatan to say goodbye to my family at that moment,
my answer is NO.

More and more people are coming.
Friends and family are chatting.
Terminal A become our ABC2 territory.

And then I see Wei Sin,
phew.....
my Liverpool journey will be meaningless without her.

Now we are going to the counter,
check in our big luggage,
it's a long long Q,
and we see YuanChin and Seewei together.

Suddenly we realize we should have write down our Full name and contact number in the STA Travel slip, then tie it up to our luggage.
Ok, start to feel nervous ady.

Whatsoever, in the end we are both happy that we can sit together in the first flight to Abu Dhabi.

Ok, family time.
Everyone go to have their 'last supper' with family.

My family choice is KFC,
I got no mood to eat really, but my mum asked me to eat something first just in case.

Then I see Weixiang.
We met in the Q, then dont know why somehow we met in the toilet,
and I look into the mirror,
oh my passport pouch looks like a bra wei...

Ok, dinner time.
Not much of talking, just some regular but sincere advise.

Remember to do this,
remember to do that.

Then I went to candy shop to buy some chocolate and sweets,
there I met Alric,
as usual he did his arm-wrestle style handshake to me,
and I remember he told me that he gonna need a bubble gum during the flight.

Ok, go back to Terminal A.
People start taking picture.

Photobucket
thank you Liew family

Photobucket
our hair were so short, especially Derique and me,
this is absolutely classic!

After that, me and my family went to a quiet place and we start praying.
My sister lead the blessing prayer, how touch.
Glory to the Lord and thanks Lord for guiding me!

Ok ladies,
it is time,
let's move!

People start saying goodbye, hug and kiss.
I saw Weisin family, I saw Aiyin family, I saw See Yeong family, can't recall anymore.
I saw Eugene Yuin Yue Lydia and many many more.

We took the escalator go down,
we turn our head to behind and wave our hands.

Ok, put aside Duty Free Shop incident and fast fwd to the flight.
Here we are with Etihad Airway.

I just realize Paiwah also sit beside me,
how happy.

She is the one who maintain a stable friendship with me for the past four years,
it was so meaningful, it was so special.

Photobucket
Then we played interactive board games on the flight as well.

Photobucket
~This one is even more special~
She is Godsend (to me).

5pm MAS time, Eason Chan sing with me,
~天氣不似如期,但要走,總要飛~

A memorable picture in Abu Dhabi ,

That's all for the emotional 28th May 2009.
Memories in Liverpool to be continued.

Thursday, May 27, 2010

Let's going back to the start

'I am going back to the start'

Everytime I heard Coldplay sang this part,
I would think about those days in Liverpool.

Today is 28th May, such an emotional day for me, seriously,
just as how I felt last year in the same day.

Not because this is the day Manchester United were defeated by Barcelona in the Champions League Final, but this is the day me and my friends are ready to depart to Liverpool.

~28May2009~
This is the day we all should remember,
this is the day we made history.

Yeah!!!

How I wish I can go back to the start,
even if I knew that I have to suffer so much for the assignment loads,
I don't mind, because I am sure it is worth.

My memory in Liverpool is priceless,
no one can take that away from me,
it's in my heart.

Even if I have the chance to go back Liverpool one day in future,
I am sure the feeling is different and those days in Liverpool....it will never ever happen again.

Everyone tell me to look forward, yes I did,
but those days in Liverpool still never fade away, because I can't let go.

I have decided not to let go,
I have decided to become a person that doesnt move forward,
because of Liverpool.

Because I want to remember.
It's bittersweeet, and I like that.

No matter how suffer everytime I think back,
I still never regret for not letting it go.

Memory is cruel, especially those which is special.
It makes you remember, no matter good or bad,
that's the suffering part.

But memory also start fading away day by day,
and if you don't make yourself remember that,
it could disappear in the near future,
and that's another suffering part.

Whatsoever,
as I mentioned earlier,
I have decided not to let go and continue suffering,
because I am sure I wont regret.

The biggest lost in one life,
is not wasting your time to keep thinking about these old days,
but instead it's you yourself who tend to forget these old days.

Today onwards,
I will start writing Today's history in my blog,
particularly on what happened to me in UK 365days ago.

And now,
the time is 3am++,
365days ago I guess I am packing up my luggage thiz and that,
checking my mobile charger and battery all these stuff,
most important is Passport and Banker Draft and LJMU offer letter, some British pound in cash ofcourse.

I can't sleep on 365days ago,
I can't sleep tonight either.

The difference is,
I was so anticipate towards the UK journey with hope and excitement,
and I am so so so 'XXXXX' (out of my words to describe my feeling) right now.

Oh God,
dear God....

El Nino's future

When the players salute Anfield crowd in the last Liverpool home game this season,
Torres looks like a leaving man.

And I think to myself,

'thanks Liverpool, thanks Anfield, thanks Carlsberg, thanks Kop, thanks Chelsea fans' applause, and if Torres you would leave this summer I wont hate you'

Yes, it has been a heavy speculation and rumours saying that Torres could leave Anfield this summer after Liverpool failed to qualify Champions League.

For me, I always remain calm when I heard and read about this kinda negative news, whether it is true or not I always tell myself, as a fans, I cant do anything.

It is very understandable once a big team went thru a terrible season, their best players would slided into the transfer rumours.

But if Torres would leave, I wont blame him, definitely.
He is such a genius, and he is so talented, the most danger weapon ever since Gabriel Batistuta.

22goals in 33games, his productivity in such underdog situation and injury-plagued season is terrifying indeed.

In terms of percentage (22divide33, do your math), I bet Drogba and Rooney cant do that.

Which is why, everyone is talking about how high possibility is Torres could leave, because that would translate to a great news for Liverpool rival.

Chelsea seems impossible to get Torres, then the media start switching the focus to Spanish football, they just simply get excited just like their readers do.

As a fans, I cant make a clear statement for him and say, 'Torres wont leave'
But ofcourse, no ppl in Anfield want him to leave.

In fact, Liverpool owe him a huge apology for not being able to qualify in Champions League next season, I mean he came all the way from Madrid to Merseyside just because he want to play in a top-tier competition.

3years wait, but no one single-trophy he can lift.

The moment Athletico Madrid win the Europa League, I am sure Torres can imagine 'what would happen to me if I were still in Madrid'.

Let's think in a rational way, Torres could be leaving this summer, no joke.
Everyone can have their own choice, to pursue for their dream.

But nobody know what will happen in Anfield next season.
When Liverpool was crowned as the Cream of Europe in 2005, they also just went thru some silverware drought season.

This is the time for Torres to decide, and to show his commitment.
Most importantly, his patience.

Liverpool has been a weaker side in Premier League for the last 20years but they are always great in playing cup tie.
I am sure Torres would achieve something if he stay.

But still, if he leave, I wont blame him.
I wish him good luck, but please dont let me see him wearing the Blue Shirt, it's gotta be heartbreaking.

'Sorry Torres, we let you down.
Your goal-scoring record and effort proved that you shouldnt get the blame for this terrible season.'

After all, Torres never say that he is leaving anyway,
that's a fact.

So, media speculation to excite our Malaysian Man.U fans is undoubtful.
The intention of feeding and the willingness of getting fed are two inconvenient truth.

England captaincy

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has come out of international retirement to be part of Capello's 30-man provisional squad for next month's World Cup finals.

Personally I dun think tats a sensational news, ofcourse Carragher would be pleased to hear the recruitment, but whether he can qualify for the last 23men or not, this I am not really sure.

Liverpool English players had been underrated all these years, and it get worsen since the arrival of Steve McClaren, Carragher is the best example, that's why he quit national team in 2007.

Who in the world can make a fair decision to choose two centre defenders among Terry, Ferdinand, and Carragher?

But the sad thing for Carragher is, he has been neglected even during the earlier Sol Campbell's period.

McClaren insist to Manchesterdize the English national team proved that it was a mistake, and the failure to qualify European Championship proved him wrong.

Fabio Capello is well-known for his strict and demanding coaching style, his willingness to use non Big Four players is a fantastic break-out, and the comfortable qualification to 2010 World Cup proved that.

But since Terry take off his armband, one major question that everyone is talking about is, who will be the England skipper in S.Africa?

Ferdinand, or Gerrard?

As a Liverpool fans, if you asked me ofcourse I would prefer Gerrard because he has everything required to be a skipper.

Gerrard can attack and he can also defend, he control the midfield and he has the ability to boost up team morale.

But, this can only apply on Liverpool.

In England, he cant perform.
It's not his problem actualy, in fact it is the phenomenon that hinder his capability.

So, if you asked me,
who would be the better England skipper? I would say, Ferdinand, if not, Terry.

Gerrard? no way.

There are only three Liverpool players who are selected into England national team, in terms of percentage tat is actually accounted to 100% because Johnson, Carragher and Gerrard are the only three English players in Liverpool.

If Gerrard become the captain for England, I dont think he can earn a fair respect from his team mate because many players would thought that he do not deserved that as Liverpool has just went thru a horrible season.

How can a skipper of a club, who can only secure the 7th place in premier league, lead the national team to the glory road of S.Africa?

I believe that Gerrard is the best captain in the world, no one can give inspiration to the team and fans like he did.

But, he is definitely not a suitable captain for England. It's not gonna work, I really wish he can prove me wrong, I would be glad to see him lift up the World Cup as England captain.

Put aside Arsenal, who didnt contribute much for England squad these years, Chelsea and Manchester United both have some experienced captaincy level players like Terry and Lampard, Neville and Ferdinand. They are all good candidates for England captaincy, though Terry has given up.

But for the captain and vice-captain of Liverpool, Gerrard and Carragher, it's cruel and sad to accept the truth, but the whole phenomenon disallowed them to shine in national team.

And I say, 'Let it be, just do your duty if you're goin to S.Africa.'

So ya, Ferdinand is the most suitable player to take the captaincy in World Cup.
This I make myself very clear.

what would Liverpool do?

If one does not realize how important for Liverpool to lose their match tonight against Chelsea, they certainly do not truly understand the history of the city and their club rivalry.

If you wish Liverpool to win tonight, you are not a Liverpool fans.

This is a truth, that's why many Manchester United fans said, 'For the first in my life-time I will support Liverpool tonight'

And I say, 'For the first in my life-time I wish Liverpool to lose a game'

The only chance for Liverpool to rescue their terrible season, is to lose their game tonight at Anfield, this is indeed a very weird statement from a Liverpool fans like me, but in fact this is what Liverpool FC supporter from Merseyside wish to see.

It is true that Chelsea is the most competitive rival with Liverpool in Benitez era, their European clash is always massive.

But when we talk about football fierce rival, the hatred between Liverpool and Manchester United is much more serious.

And if you study the history of both city, their rival is not only because of football, but it can even trace back to the reformed industrial era when Liverpool was heavily rely on port industry.

I cant see a reason why Liverpool need to win tonight, if they did, I bet Ferguson wont thank them for that, and the fans, dont even think about that.

Ferguson swore that one day in future he would bring MU to be crowned as the best football club in England, they are so near at this moment.

And this is what Liverpool fans do not wish to see, definitely.

SinChew paper wrote on their headline stated, 利物浦沒有資格放水。
They use a very harsh word indeed.

But I questioned that,
Spurs and M.City victory lastnite has shown that Liverpool top4 dream is only mathematically possible.

With 2games in hand, I dont think Spurs will slip to Liverpool when they only need to get 1point.

Think about that Liverpool, what would you get even if you win Chelsea?
Ferguson and fans wont thank you, and the victory will not restore our dissapointment anyway.

So, I suggest Rafa to give up this game.
This is what I think from a stalwart point of view.

~NOW~
let's talk about this match in a rational point of view.

People has been talk about Liverpool's stand in this match, mainly because the media and press keep on raising this issue.

If we analyze Liverpool situation and form this season, it is fair enough to say that Liverpool could lose to Chelsea even if they make put full strength.

Nowadays, EPL is different.
When we talk about Big Team clash, playing at home doesnt give you advantage anymore.
That's why Arsenal was beaten by MU in Emirates and MU was beaten by Chealsea in Old Trafford.

This kinda result doesnt surprise me really.
So, even if Liverpool try hard tonight, they might lose to Chelsea.

Another thing which many people have been neglected,
would MU secure a victory againsnt Sunderland?
and what would happen in the 38th fixtures?

No one know.
So, tonight match is important and crucial, but not decisive.

Liverpool would has another reason to lose this match, not just because they want to stop MU, but also because of the financial issue.

We all know that the two bloody Americans are ready to sell the club this summer, THANK GOD!

But their offering price was 800million pound, if Liverpool cant qualify Champions League for the next season, the positive thing is that the club value will automatically decrease, and the new potential buyer has a reason to negotiate with current owners, which translate to about 500million pound.

Ofcourse, if Liverpool lose their top4 spot, they will lose the Champions League fund.
But who cares about those fund if Liverpool can find a new owner and he is willing to spend very very much more money than the American, and atleast see some progession on Stanley Park.

It is a terrible season for Liverpool, we cant find any excuse to them for not getting criticized.
This I agree.

But what I am saying here is that, Liverpool need a revive.
Lost the 4th spot this season and Champions League next season is a nightmare for Liverpool, because Torres will be the most dissapointed man, and he could leave.

However, what would Liverpool achieve even if they can play Champions League next season?
who can guarentee that they will win that trophy?

No offence, but look at Chelsea and Arsenal, they never fail to qualify all this while, but they never won the trophy, what is the point if you can play every year but you know you will end up in failure.

If you analyze the whole picture for Liverpool FC, what they really need today is money and a new owner, to revive.

Then, I am sure they will be back to top 4 next season.

Surprisingly, Ferguson and his fans praise Liverpool football in a pre-match talk, to boost up our morale and spirit.
This is a very good psychological war indeed.

If Liverpool win today, they will meet their target.
If Liverpool lose today, they might criticize their football.

But if Liverpool were to put reserve team tonight, Fergie cant blame anyone because he was the best example of this situation.

Years back, his purposely lost to Derby County, made their city rival Manchester City relegated.
Then, Ferguson also allow his disciple Bryan Robson to steal some points so that West Brom can survive.

So, if Liverpool lose tonight, whether they have to intention or not,
Ferguson and his fans has nothing to complain.

After all, Chelsea is a better side this season, I think they deserve the title.

heartbreaking Europa night

It was a heartbreaking night for the Reds at Anfield after Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 on the night, but crashed out on away goals.

Liverpool's Europa League dream was cruelly brought to an end as Diego Forlan's extra-time strike saw Atletico Madrid progress into the final on the away goals rule.

Alberto Aquilani levelled up the tie with a well-taken volley. The 90minutes game ended in 1-0 and aggregate 1-1.

Benayoun put Liverpool ahead when the Israeli score the second goal for Reds in extra-time.

But the home side's joy was short, as Forlan easy goal tie the aggregate score at 2-2 and ensure it is Atletico who will contest the Europa League final.

I do not wish to find excuse for Liverpool's exit in Europa League.
But certainly there are many reasons, unlucky incidents happened that affect the match result, which Liverpool had experienced many times already in the entire season.

Frankly, after Fabregas's handball when Gerrard's last minute free-kick was taken in Emirates Stadium, I felt nothing anymore everytime bad decision go against Liverpool, such as Valencia's 'semi-diving' into the penalty box and Manchester United scored the equiliser penalty in Old Trafford.

The fact is, two Liverpool goals were taken away by the referee, first was Benayoun's break of offside trap in Vicente Calderon, another was Agger's header into the left bottom corner at Kop stand.

Two Liverpool goals were judged as offside, but to be honest it is not. In fact, Forlan's goal is more likely to be offside. I said more likely, because I wasnt 100% sure. But the two Liverpool disallowed goals, I am absolutely sure it was a wrong judgement, twice.

No anger, just dissapointment...seriously...this is what I felt after Liverpool exit.

Im proud of the team that night and the fans,
if you watched the match you will understand what Im saying.

The fans show their loyalty and present another fantastic European night atmosphere in Anfield.

And the team~
no complain at all.

Rafa put the strongest selection in starting line-up,
the problem is, he take off our goal scorers, but I understand that because a 120minutes game is indeed very very exhausting.

Liverpool play really well againt Atletico Madrid in Anfield, one of the best performance they ever present this season, they show their character and play their football, a unique Liverpool way.

Gerrard, Benayoun, and Aqua;s passing were fantastic, so smooth, so fluent, beautiful football.
There was a top-class moment before Aqua score the first goal, where the lads made a pin-ball movement and breakthru Madrid's defence, what a team work, it's been a while really, that's Liverpool football.

Too bad Gerrard didnt participate much on Liverpool attack that night, it's either he was getting exhausted or his midfield defensive burden was heavy.

Forlan's goal is very crucial, I wont blame on the goal scorer because he didnt dive and he never cheat, in fact I always like Forlan for his scoring ability under criticism.

But Forlan really made me heart-breaking, everything is under control and work in order, Liverpool was so near to make another Germany trip since Houllier's treble.

Ofcourse, if you asked me, I would say it was Johnson's fault because he always run to an unfamiliar position and he is being too offensive, hence neglected his defensive role.

The only thing I dont understand is the new UEFA rule, which allows the away goal in extra-time to be considered as an aggregate advantage.

I am not really sure when did UEFA change this rule, in fact I never realize that.
Many Liverpool fans still canot understand why we were knocked out of the cup.

Because according to the previous rule, away goals advantage only exist in two-legs 180minutes.
Liverpool lose 0-1 in Spain, and they equalize the aggregate in Anfield to 1-1.

So, when Benayoun and Forlan score in extra-time, the aggregate was 2-2 and the game was suppose to bring in into a penalty shoot-out, which we all know it was Liverpool favourite because they never lost in a penalty shoot-out for more than 10years.

So, why is Forlan's goal counted as an away goal?
I dont understand.

Maybe UEFA has changed their rule and I wasnt updated.
But even if they really did, I think this rule is very unfair for Liverpool because this will translate to Atletico Madrid has extra 30minutes to get a precious away goal.

Despite all this issue, not forget to mention Liverpool's Oddessey trip to Madrid because of Iceland's volcano ashes. All of these things I mentioned above, is not my excuse why Liverpool was being knocked out, in fact the team never blame on the plane issues.

But the thing is, Liverpool play a really fantastic football at Anfield that night, they seriously deserved to win, although the word ~deserved~ is always debatable.

After all, I feel heartbreaking on our Europa exit, but still,
I feel proud to become a Liverpool FC stalwart when I see the lads were trying so hard and give in everything.

You will never alone, never ever....
not even if you lose your place in Champions League,
not even if you lose your position to be named as Big Four,
not even if you relegate.

If you do, I would use online-streaming to watch your match.
YES i will, but I hope it wont happen lar ofcoz.

Last Carlsberg original featured in Anfield

Liverpool will wear Carlsberg on their shirts for the final time at Anfield this weekend, but it'll be with a difference.

The Danish brewers' name has adorned the Reds jersey at every home game over the last 18 years, but as Carlsberg prepare to sign off as the club's shirt sponsors at the end of the season their name will be displayed in Chinese language for the clash with Chelsea on Sunday.

With Liverpool the only UK city exhibiting at World Expo in Shanghai, Carlsberg officials came up with the idea of interacting with the club's massive fan base in China.

This will translate to, Liverpool will wear the original Carlsberg on their jersey for the last time at Anfield tonight, a second-leg Europa League semi-final against Atletico Madrid.

As much as I love the sponsor ,18 years with them and no premier league title.
Hopefully the Chinese font will change our luck.

Whatsoever, the jersey will never be the same without Carlsberg on it, but what to do?
Carlsberg's amount of sponsorship is among the lowest if compare to other big English teams, perhaps this is the right time to restart everything all over again.

Liverpool and Carlsberg billateral relationship has shown their loyalty, I am sure the fans will feel weird without seeing Carlsberg on the jersey.

The atmosphere of the match against Atletico Madrid is gonna be fantastic, let's hope that the lightning will strike for the third time in Anfield, and Liverpool shall overturn the deficit with the help of Kop's roar and chants like how they did against Lille and Benfica.

It is true that Liverpool is the first English team that was being knocked out in Champions League this season, but not many people would expect Liverpool is the only Big Four that is able to remain in European cup tie at this moment, and together with Fulham, they both restored the pride of England after Manchester United and Arsenal both failed to qualify semi-final.

Yeah, Europe League is not really something for some people, but when you realize how terrible Liverpool was during the entire season, you will know how important and how desperate they need to win tonight.

8August09, Liverpool pre-season friendly match against Atletico Madrid @ Anfield.

Co-incidentally, the fixtures come true, but let's wish the result will not repeat later.
But ofcourse, after what Liverpool has went thru this season, I must say a silverware cant replace our dissapointment, but atleast it can serve as a consolation for us.

~YNWA~ and keep in faith....
atleast for the next 2hours, hehe!

Remembering Hillsborough

21 years ago over 20,000 LFC fans went to watch the 1989 FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest. 96 never returned home.

Today, in 15th April, Liverpool Football Club will be remembering each of those who lost their lives in Hillsborough, Sheffield.

Unfortunately, to date, nobody in authority has been punished for their role in what happened that day.

Photobucket
You will never walk alone.

The Sun’s controversial headline of reporting Hillsborough Disaster 1989 is an example of the moral panics issue. In Hillsborough Disaster, The Sun overstretched their power of influence to dominate this controversial issue for commercial interest.

Photobucket
The Truth by The Sun

The Sun distribute the front-page headline “THE TRUTH”, with three sub-headlines,
written

“Some fans picked pockets of victims”,
“Some fans urinated on the brave cops”,
“Some fans beat up PC giving kiss of life”.

These headlines contradict to the truth that Liverpool fans actually helped the security personnel for carried away the victims and giving first-aid to the injured.

The Sun not only distorted the truth, but they also wrote “THE TRUTH” in all capital letters in the front-page headline, which is eye-catching to the reader.

Photobucket
The Truth by Kop

These over-dramatized and sensationalized headlines are biased, and it misleads the public to stereotype Liverpool F.C. fans as a threat to society.

The Sun overstretch their power to dominate public opinion, to see football hooligan as the cause of Hillsborough Disaster.

The Sun did not blame the police for their mismanagement, but they were shifting the focus to blame on Liverpool F.C. fans.

The Sun treat Hillsborough Disaster as an opportunity to make money, because they realize mass injury disaster can be used to create chaos and it can get immediate reward.

The Sun manipulate the controversial issue by accusing Liverpool F.C. fans for urinating on the cops. In this case, Liverpool F.C. fans do not have their chance to defend themselves.

The media has distorted the truth and sensationalized the news for social affairs newsworthy, and this is not acceptable.

Photobucket
Today, you wont see The Suns in Liverpool,
never....ever....

Hillsborough
Liverpool Memorial
taken by me on 8August2009.

I have seen this memorial with my own eye,
I cant say that I understand how the Liverpooldian and Kop fans feel,
but I definitely felt the sorrow and pain when I saw their face.

Hillsborough Disaster 1989,
shall not be forgotten.

May the 96fans R.I.P.,
God bless their family.

from student to JOB

Now we are no longer student, but an employee, a worker, doesnt really matter how do you call it.

I have found a phenomenon among friends, people start talking about their own job, their own working life....bla bla....but seldom we talk about those days we went thru together as a student.

It's nice to have new chapter in our life and we move on,
that's a good and mature attitude.

But, I think most of the time,
people wanted to get others' attention about happen to his/her working life,
they learn when to talk but they forget when to listen.

First of all, as I always did, I need to clarify that this blog entry doesnt meant to criticize any single person that I met in my life, but in fact I only wish to criticize the phenomenon.

When we were labelled as student, all of us were same, is like, we have the same blood in our body and we were wearing the same flesh and cloths.
That unify all of us.

But the working life actually separate all of us into different kind of job category.
Now, we have friends who work for media, non-media, production, non-production, office, non-office, thiz and that.

The problem of the people is,
they wish other people can understand more about themselves,
but they doesnt realize the same+opposite conversation intention.

Which is why,
I found one huge problem in a group conversation is that,
people cant stop talking about what happen to themselves without listening to the others.

Now, why do we need gathering?
why do we need chit-chating session?
why do we need to meet up?
why do we need to talk?

Ofcourse it is meant for one to share his/her story to the other, vice-versa.
I didnt mean that one should not talk about his/her story in a group conversation, don't get me wrong.
What I mean is, we should start listening to the other.

There are people who need our help and encouragement,
I knew some of my friends are having a bad time, they are not happy, but nobody is there to listen.

I believe everyone cares about the others in the world,
but I also believe many ppl is too careless to neglect the others who need cares.

I have seen many meaningless group conversation, no point.
I didnt mean that every single conversation must have point, but atleast the minimum requirement is that everyone can participate in the conversation.

When we were student, we share the same laughter and same jokes,
but now I have seen different sub-conversations among a group gathering.

And when one didnt get enough attention in a group conversation,
he/she will start mumbling and complaining how bad their job are,
then when one start gaining attention he/she will start to show off how good their job are.

Example,
First phase: Aiya, my job very susah la, everyday do this everyday do that, so tired lar.
Second phase: But then nvmla~~~~alternative 1. I can see this superstar, 2. I can get many freegift, 3. I can know more people then good for my future, 4. my company pay me well...

Once again, dont get me wrong, no offence to any one of my fren.

The problem, or phenomenon is~~
I found many one of us actually like our job, and the worse part is, they want to prove it that their job is better than the other.

I have heard one bloody fool said,
'Aiya, you guys sit at aircon room don't understand our painful experience wanla'

It doesnt sounds like a complain, it sounds like an insult for person who work in aircon room.

Today I tell you what,
if that bloody fool has one chance in a lifetime to sit in an aircon room,
HE WOULD DEFINITELY SIT ON THE COUCH AND BARK~"Harr.......'' like a dog.
because now he would realize how great it is to rest inside an aircon room.

He is talking like~
those people who sit inside an aircon room is a fucking lazy pig who dont understand the meaning of working.

He is the one who choose to become he himself,
who he is right now,
no one is forcing him in fact.

The problem is, he is actually enjoying his working life,
and he want to prove that he is better by insulting the other.

Now what hinder the progress of sharing story is that,
this person has building a wall or creating a boundary betwen he himself with the other.

Working in an aircon room or an office shouldnt become a reason of one being insulted and working in a non-aircon location doesnt mean that you have something to shout or to be proud of, vice versa.

After all, this is our job.
Everyone should pay respect to the others and stop creating boundary with each other because of different working life.

Non-media thinks the media cannot earn money.
Media thinks the non-media are not loyal to their studying subject.

Production people thinks they are cool,
non-production people thinks production people are KULI.

People who work in big and famous company thinks that they are greater,
what is the point in the end?

For me, I work in both field before, non-production and production, non-media and media.
I enjoy all of these jobs really.

What matter the most, is what I learned, not what I earned~in terms of job position or title.

Is that really important to become a so called DIRECTOR but actually you're not one?

I am a reporter now,
but what define me as a news reporter is not what the job position written in my namecard,
in fact, it is what I know and what I am capable of.

I always believe that anyone can be a news reporter,

listen and salin only ma, how susah could it be?
you try try and see lar, then you will know it is not easy.

Ofcourse everyone can be a reporter,
But, the difference is, are you one good reporter?

As a biz reporter, some people actually told me that entertainment news reporter is like a dog.
I refuse to believe that, it's their job anyway.

The difference of biz reporter and E-news reporter is the news they covered,
but that doesnt make one identity greater than another.

If I can choose again, I will choose to expose myself to biz news instead of E-news,
no doubt about that.

But one thing for sure, my decision is not based on the dog a.k.a. Paparazzi issue,
but instead I wish to learn more about biz news as I found it is more important and solid than the E-news do.

After all, different type of reader or audiences need to consume different kind of news.
We're equally important.

This is real working life, not internship.
A job position as cameraman, producer, writer, senior thiz senior that, professional thiz professional that doesnt define you as a succesful person, but it is your own capability who make you who you are.

So,
Please, go ahead to find a high-salary job,
go ahead to find your favourite job,
go ahead to find a job nearby your house,
go ahead to find an office-admin job,
go ahead to sell insurance,
go ahead to do your production.

I support you, my friend.
Really, I do.

As long as you're happy, then go ahead.
We all should learn how to respect, but not insulting the others.

We need a job, we need to earn money to survive.
It's their job anyway, not yours, why bother?

I know this entry is quite sharp, but frankly, the phenomenon is what I wish to emphasize, not the people.

Bear in mind, no offence~no offence~
But if you insist to get offended, go f**k yourself!

This is JT a.k.a. Dark Shadow,
good night,
and good luck.

my movie dream

just have a quick dinner with my best mate Ah Hem,
we talk alot about movies, as we usual did.

We talk about Dark Knight, we talk about Inglourious Basterds.
It was an interesting conversation indeed.

Somehow I really miss the production world,
I like my current job,
but I always remind myself,
how much I love movie before, and how much Im gonna stick with good movies forever.

But,
I dont need to remind myself actually.

It's in my heart,
the passion,
the love,
it's deep inside my heart.

I love movie,
and I love good movie,
my passion to the movies will never die.

imbalance

I wasnt in a good mood recently,
the reason is simple.

I found tat it is pretty hard to find the balance between being funny and gaining respect.
It always happen to me I guess, and I knew some of my friends face the same problem, friends like Aiyin, and we talked about that when we were in Liverpool.

Yes, I think it is really difficult to become a funny person, yet people can respect you.
Because most of the time, the boundary of people laughing with you or laughing at you is unclear.

All this while, I try to become a funny person that bring laughter to people, and I knew some of my friends appreciate me for doing that.

But ofcourse, there are some poeple who treat funny person as a buffoon, and in certain extent I found that these people's reaction or response is actually too much, and they probably didnt realize it.

When you are taking the role as a funny person in a group,
people tends to treat you like a friendly, easy-going, close friend.
People laugh when they are talking with you, people smile when they are looking at you.

But out of certain extent there are somes who treat you like an idiot or fools, who never grow up with a childish attitude.
These people dont appreciate your role really, they dont really care about you, they wanted to see you so that they can laugh at you.

At this point, I have found that many of these people had totally forget the role of the funny person took in the group.
When one has taken this role too often, people no longer laugh with you, but they laugh at you.

And I think I know how to interpret the diffrence between laugh with me or laugh at me,
just that I cant distinguish these two things when I needed to.

Sometimes, I dont even know who am I and who I want to be.
People who know me well should realize that I have actually multiple characters (like anybody else, perhaps I have few more) and it depends on which occasion, location, and the group I'm in to become who I want to be.

If you asked me,
I think I wasnt that funny,
and I wasnt that serious.

But one thing for sure,
I want respect.

Not that kinda respect which you need to give me a tribute,
but the respect that shown that you appreciate me for being myself.

Human is sensitive,
and I think I know what it feels like if (when) people are laughing at me,
at that moment the feeling is always strong, and I know someone is insulting me.

Dont get me wrong,
I am happy to be myself,
I am rily please to become a person that owns multiple characters,
sometimes it feels good when you can switch roles in different occasions,
some might claim it is tired to put on the mask,
who wasnt huh? but still I think no matter which character I am taking, as long as that's me then I am please.

Who the true side of myself?
Again, I think I wasnt that funny or that serious.
I am just me, and I am happy to be me.

Until today, I still feel happy for taking the multiple roles among friends.
and Im sure I will continue to serve this need as long as my friends like it.

Once again, I think I need to clarify,
I am still happy, like Aiyin did.

But I can't pretend myself like a fool and idiot when I get insult and act like nothing happen.
In many cases, I think I am not happy with the way people react, they repeat, repeat and repeat...
Still I didnt change my character, because if I did, that certainly means I was wrong previously.

One last thing that cross into my mind when I am saying 'just be myself',
I think I am not an extremist to label myself as me myself.

A person tat believe blindly in the theory of 'be myself' is problematic,
because he/she couldnt accept criticism and these people dont often apologize.

When they have do something wrong,
they don't admit that it was their fault,
but in an opposite position,
they blame the others for not accepting themselves for being who they are.

I think this kinda extremist mindset is sick.
If one who think 'be yourself' is the greatest character that everyone should own,
I am sure that 'be yourself' is only an excuse to wipe-off your fault.

When one criticize you,
you can't just say 'I'm just being me myself, so fuck off if you dont like the real me'

Can you imagine what would happen to this world if everyone owns this kinda mindset?

So,
who is the real me?
am I being the true side of me myself all this while?

I dont really know,
because if I did,
that would translate to 'I am a person who know myself and be myself',
then when one criticize me I shall tell them 'I'm just being me myself, so fuck off if you dont like the real me'

But I wont say that.
You see, I am not an extremist.

My point is, it is impossible to understand yourself and being yourself at the same time.
Everyone has their own weaknesses, and they would like to hide it ofcourse.
Are you sure you are being yourself when you are saying that?

To be yourself, is pretty easy actually.
You dont have to analyze your own character, you just be yourself.
Be yourself who bring laughter to the others, and be yourself who might make someone angry to you.

That's yourself.

So, the only chance that conflicts could happen,
is the moment that one who being himself/herself is doing that in the wrong time.

Again, I repeat, I wasnt that funny or serious,
and when I am slighty slanting against either side,
I think I am being a real me myself, but at the same time, I am not.

After all, it wasnt that important to study one character whether he/she is being himself/herself or not.
Respect is still a very fundamental thing in making friends, and I think this element is even greater than 'faith' and 'loyalty' when we are talking about friendship.

Eventhou 'respect' can be shown in people's action or words and 'faith' and 'loyalty' live in our heart, but without 'respect' I think the friendship is dead anyway.

And since the matter of respect is totally off, in the end I think faith and loyalty wasnt that important anymore.

lonely Double Happiness

this year so call 'Double Happiness' mah,
Chinese New Year CHOR YAT and Valentine's Day together,
but I can say frankly,
I never feel so boring and lonely in CNY.

Family is heading to Thailand,
girlfriend balik kampong to Ipoh,
friends all busy thiz and busy that.

I never feel so lonely really.
Most of the time,
I can find this bunch of fren when that bunch of fren is not there,
and that bunch of fren when this bunch of fren is not here.

But this year,
hmm.....
it's pretty sad huh....

Well I guess we all hv grow up aye?
Yesterday we were talking about having gathering this and that,
CNY must come out meet up and LOU SANG together.

But today we are talking about go back hometownsss,
not only our own hometown,
and also our love partner's hometown, if not, it's their house.

We are all looking forward to a new life,
new friend, and the love one that you probably gonna spend your rest of the life with.
They are more important for you isnt ?

I mean,
I am not complaining like a child la,
but seriously I feel so uncomfortable for the change this year,
since we start working already.

Life is short,
we all should only spend time for the one who deserve it right?
There is no point for visiting a friend that he/she has no longer close to you wasnt it?

Perhaps when we were stil a kids we always think about angpao angpao,
but I guess today the true meaning of visiting a friend and relatives are much more important than the angpao huh?

What is the point of getting alot of angpao's from a friend's parent while your relationship with your friend is not good anymore?
Can you feel the joy?
Can you feel the happiness?
and do you really think that this angpao money can make you richer?

Seriously,
I know I shouldnt say this kinda things in CNY,
you know Chinese ppl always like to hear good things in CNY,
they are fake, they are stupid, they like to get self-comfort,
the person who say the wishes doesnt really mean it but the person who hear it simply can't resist it.

That's the problem of Chinese culture,
Christmas bring peace and Hari Raya bring forgiveness,
personally I think these occasions are much more meaningful wasnt it?

But my point here is,
is not to criticize CNY,
and I am proud to be a Chinese ofcourse,

but the thing is,
when we keep on doing same things and saying same wishes every year,
repeat and repeat,
we are celebrating the CNY for the sake of CNY,
what a waste really.

In the end,
we might forget the true meaning of CNY and visiting friends/family house.

Everytime we celebrate A Chinese New Year,
we tends to hope that good things will come in the 365days ahead,
but we already forget that the previous 365days has already lost in space.

I wish I didnt spoil the CNY mood,
but when you are seeing less old faces and more new faces during the family reunion,
you knew you are getting older and your elder relatives are leavin you....year by year....

In the case like that,
are you still in mood to wish your relatives 'Gong Xi Fatt Chai' while you didnt mean it?

why i say my life is perfect

I can give you thousands of reason why I say my life is happy.

But to tell you why I say my life is perfect,
I don't need to talk much.

Just back from the preach at PGRM,
try to learn more and more by weekly,
soul is fed.

Then when I get back to my home,
hot noodles is prepared by mum right after I finish my shower,
body is fed.

What else do I need?
If this is not considered as 'perfect', I think I am out of idea to define this word.

I do not deserve this

Last week Redtone's CEO held a press night at One World Hotel, to officially lauch his new television network on subscription based, called DETV, which its broadband technology is first introduced in Malaysia.

Basically press night is a social event that a company's boss invite all the media to join them for a launching event, got dinner served and many fab. prize to win.

My photographer asked me to join him, so be it, let's go.

That night, I have see another picture yet again.
It's about the classification of human.

I saw the hotel waiter and waitress being scolded by their captain for like 1000times when I work as a video crew lastime.
It's a pretty ordinary image for me really.

But on that day,
it was my first time seated on the dining chair and serve with food on the dining table.

I feel uncomfortable really.
I think to myself.
What is the difference between me and the waiter?

Both of us are human, both of us are men.
What makes me sit here and what makes him stand there?
What makes me enjoy the food and what makes him serve the food for me?

Do I deserve this?
No, I do not.

Which is why,
everytime he pour the water and wine for me,
I say 'Thank you'.
Deep inside my heart I say THANK YOU.

everytime he change my plate and bowl I say 'Thank you'.
deep inside my heart I say 'THANK YOU'.

I really feel uneasy.

I saw a Chinese man who shouted at the waiter and ask him 'Go away, go now, go serve the wine for the people at that table, go now!'

Then when the waiter leave,
he laugh at the waiter and make jokes of the waiter with his friend.

WTF?
It was so embarrassing man.
Shame on him,
he definitely bring shame to the Chinese people.

HE YELL AT THE WAITER LIKE YELLING AT THE DOG.

This I wil always remember.
After I finish my study in UK,
I have learned that people should have identity equality, eventhough in reality this is not possible.

But in UK,
they tends to make it as its best as they could.

Atleast the garbage man is a white man,
and people respect this job.

As a student that was once study in oversea,
I knew how hard for one to live in a brand new environment by themselves.

Eventhough my English is sufficient enough to communicate with UK people.
Eventhough I didnt face racist issue out there.

But,
The way people talk to you,
the way people look at you.

~The Fear~ I cannot describe.

Why is this Chinese fella want to humilate the waiter?
I really cannot stand it, I really cannot make myself to see this happen.

It was a heartbreaking moment really.
I have no appetite at all that night.

The incident strike my feeling strongly.

Since then,
I tell myself,
I do not deserve to sit at the dining chair really.

It was my parents who give me good education,
so that I have found a job,
and being invited to the press night.

In fact,
I didnt do anything that I can feel proud of myself,
that makes me sit at that dining chair.

And ofcourse the waiter didnt do anything that he should feel ashame of himself,
that makes him stand behind my dining chair and serve me food.

I sit there because I am a Malaysian who is well-educated.
He stand behind me because he is a foreign labour.

That's simple.
Just that's simple.

I do not deserve it,
I simply do not deserve this.

Sitting on that dining chair,
makes me fear.

p/s: my opinion in this incident doesnt applicable in many other places like fast food restaurant, cafe and bla bla bla.....

some of our bloody Malaysian waiter and waitress did gave me some fucked up service and still dare to take service charge in my bill.

These people do not even respect to their own job,
what is the point of respecting them?

very unproductive

This blog entry could offend many people,
but I dont give a damn.

I read another negative news about Steven Tea Garden today,
and it reminds me of last year my friends asked me to join STG membership.

I did not write this blog with hatred,
but I did it with anger,
I just want to prove that how fool are these people to think that they can achieve something without sacrifice anything.

This was not the firstime I have been invited to listen to direct-sales talk.
In fact, I went couple of times.

Why I refuse to believe in direct-sales?
the reason is simple.

Direct-sale is unproductive.

It's all about making money,
pyramid shape, tower shape, staircase shape, family tree shape....
I don't care.

There is nothing wrong with sales.
Sales people sell thing.
Sales people sell handphone, sell car, sell laptop.

But direct-sale is a different case,
no matter how good your product is,
it definitely doesnt worth the price.

Reason is simple,
because you have to distribute the revenue to your upper line and bottom line whatsoever.

So many people,
selling one single product.

If I buy one thing for you,
I might have to pay salary for 10sales people perhaps.

What's the point?

It is the sales people who gain the benefit,
not the customer.

The basic idea is bad.

Why I say direct-sales is unproductive?
Because the people who sales doesnt participate in the process of production.

All they know, is to sell the product.
By inviting friends for a drink in mamak or cafe.

They know nothing at all.
Trust me, even the one who sell the product, know nothing about the product at all.

But still they dare to ask you to come out when they are not equipped with sufficient product knowledge, is because there is always a mystery friend (I call them stranger) behind to talk to you.

Thats the different between direct-sales and sales.

Sales people know exactly what they are doing, they sell things for the sake of job.
Direct-sales people dont know a shit, they sell things for the sake of money.

Can you see the difference?
Sales is a job, direct-sales isnt.

Once a friend of mine has turn to work in direct-sales,
personally I think their personality has already change,
their attitude to friendship has corrupted.

Ofcourse they will never admit that they have already change,
and in fact they are fear of people saying that they had change.

That's why they always say,

'Listen first la, if dont join nvm de.'

'Dont join still can be friend mah'

'Don't get me wrong, I am not using you'

COME ON!!!!
DONT GIVE ME THIS SHIT MAN....

The one who talk about this sick ice-breaking speech,
I will definitely pour the cold water to their head man.

You yourself already realized that people perception would be like that,
you knew people will feel like that once they found that you're doing direct-sales.

That's why now you have to save your ass,
to help other people to THINK,
before they can start thinking by themselves.

In fact,
I never say that you're using me,
I never say that I wont be friend wit you,
I never say that I wont listen to your product recommendation what!!!

It is you yourself who thought that direct-sale IS A PROBLEM,
that's why you have to do yourself a self-clarification.

A friend who work for direct-sale told me,
'I am not doing direct-sale, dont worry!'

Can you see that?
They knew direct-selling is a problem but they insist that they are not doing that, they afraid of admitting that they are doing direct-sale.

Today,
newspaper stated that STG didnt apply the lisence for direct-selling and could face legal action.

Now,
go tell the court that you are not doing direct-selling la!

Come on,
it is obvious that this is a direct-selling,
dont treat me like a fool just because you are one.

First greeting they always say,
'You want to drive BM?'
(NO, NEVER TIHNK ABOUT THAT)

'Look at me, I got a new car.'
(IT'S YOUR COMPANY's CAR anyway!)

A much more rational approch would be,
'How are you lately? got a job?'

Damn,
then I answer,
'Nope, but currently I am making my short-film with my friends, very busy really.'

He answer,
'Wah, so kasihan meh? no job ah?'

I think to myself,
I am saying that I AM MAKING A SHORT-FILM with my friend,
I didnt say that I am kasihan because no job wor....

You see these fellas problem?
every sentence they use and every word that they speak to you,
have the purpose to convince you to join the membership,
even the ice-breaking session and greeting part.

I mean,
what is the point of having conversation like this?

I am doing my short-film because this is my dream,
and I AM PURSUING my dream and my ambition.

What the hell are you people doing now?
seeking fools species like one of you to join the membership?
who is more kasihan now???

Seriously,
at that moment,
these fellas makes my future direction even clearer,
atleast I know what I want.

In the end, I made my short-film,
but these fellas?

I dont even need to keep updating their so called 'business' progress and latest situation,
the news coverage and report is sufficient enough to let me know what's going on.

Ofcourse,
the ending of STG today is not the direct-sales people fault,
this I make myself very clear.

It was a Singaporean company who take over STG's managment and stop the cafe's direct-sales growth.

But if you analyze the promises these fellas made to me,
you will know they were talking bullshit to me.

The guarentee, the vision (short vision like mice), the future, the money, the business
~ALL CRAP~

There is no such thing as 'share a business' with me,
dont cheat yourself please.....

The moment you ask me out for a drink,
your intention is clear already....
ONE PURPOSE~ONE AIM....
---------------------------------drag me to join the membership !!!

Yes ofcourse you can disagree with that,
you can refuse to admit that.

But deep inside your heart you ask yourself,
do you really want to see me?

I bet you not,
that's a fact.

No way you gonna argue wit me.
The fact is,
after the conversation that day,
none of them did invite me for a drink again.

You see?
Once they said 'Dont join still can be friend mah'
but in the end, they are the one who give up the friendship, because I do not have value for them already.

They proved themselves are wrong,
I do not need to do anything to prove that I am right.

Direct-sales is not wrong,
but most of the people, especially in our country and the money-minded Chinese had make it so so wrong!!!

They thought they were clever or smarter,
know how to make fast cash,
but they lost their friendship,
whether they admit it or not,
they already did....

As for me,
ofcourse I still treat these people as my friend,

but there is no doubt that you have already leave me a bad image for forever.
Days shall pass, but still I remember there was once in a lifetime you asked me out for the sake of money.

YOU ARE USING ME.

and YOU DO NOT RESPECT OUR FRIENDSHIP.

I didnt say that actually,
it was you yourself who proved this.

After all,
you are still my friend.

husband and wife

I have seen a different picture this Wednesday,
my company send me to an assignment for the IPO underwriting signing ceremony of Homeritz Corporation.

Well, IPO underwriting basically is some sort of progress before a company want to be listed in Bursa.

Before I went to the ceremony,
I did some research about the company background,
and Im really impressed.

The company was established in 1997 at Muar,
founded by a husband and wife,
doing high-end home furniture business.

With only RM30,000 of capital,
they roll-out the small business in 1997,
the year when one of the worst economy crisis we have ever faced.

Nearly 100% of their product are exported to all around the world,
and today they wish to expand their business by listing in Bursa to gain recognition.

And the thing that impressed me the most is,
they were only educated until SRP and SPM level....

I mean,
this is simply incredible!

I didnt mean that people who are not highly educated will not success in their career,
but what Im saying is....

To come this far from 1997,
and to come this near from being listed in Bursa,

is really something huge,
something big,
something sensational,
something cheerful!!!

especially when these people is not highly educated but they have the guts to be innovative,
and always try their best to give QUALITY for customer.

It's all about loyalty,
that's the spirit I can see in this husband and wife.

I cant wait to see their company being listed on next month.
Surely I wish I can see them again, shake their hands and congrats them face-to-face.

They are our proud.
They show the true character of Chinese people.

Obviously,
they are very shy infront of the press,
they are not like that kinda Dato or Datin who are good in socialize,
they have no title,
but they have the spirit.

When I read the news exclusive about them at night before,
I cant wait to meet them.

And the next day I saw them,
I was so excited,
I duno why,
I felt so happy to see them,
it's like a big pleasure....

I feel proud for them really,
I wish them all the best in the future,
and I really hope that they can perform well inside and outside of the market.

Goodluck Mr and Mrs Chua!!!

Your story and fighting experience can be the best educational material for youngster nowadays,
to inspire them and to encourage them!!!

Surely I will pray for you guys....
You both remind me of the futuristic Szetoo Weiwen and her boyfriend (???) !

My name is J.T.
Good night, and good luck.

The Quatrain of Seven Steps

Photobucket
Is that not possible?

Everton and Liverpool,

Muslim and Christian,

their believe is different, nothing can shake their faith,

but is that not possible for them to live together in a same land?

Boiling the beans to create the soup,

filtering them to extract the juice.

The beanstalks were charred amidst the flames,

and of this the beans thus wailed:

The Noughties

"Even Everton fans....?," I asked.

"Yes even Everton fans were celebrating, everyone in the city," he said to me.

Before I completed my question,
Alan already knew what I'm trying to say.

the Liverpool fans.

From Millennium 2000 to the end of 2009,
Liverpool FC brought me 10years of fantastic memories.

The fact is, Liverpool still failed to get the Premier League title,
20years of league-drought waiting....
it didnt happen.

Steven Gerrard once said he would rather give up every trophies, medals, personal achievements and club records to swap one single Premier League title.

I doubt that,
did he really mean it?

No he is not,
ofcourse he is not,
trust me.

No people in the world can do that.
Not after what Liverpool had achieve in these 10years.

Let put yourself into a Liverpool supporter's position,

Would you give up the 2001 Treble?

Would you give up "Gerrard's beauty" (quoted by commentator Andy Gray) against Olympiakos?

Would you give up Istanbul?

Would you give up "Stevie G's FA Cup Final"?

No....not a chance!!!
It is impossible to ask one Liverpool supporter to give up all these memories....
that's too much to ask....

Swap for a single Premier League title?
That's not gonna happen.

If it is,
that would be the greatest robbery of history.

It was an incredible decade to support Liverpool,
the Noughties was not a good decade in which to be a Liverpool fan,
but it was a great one.

~One Night In Istanbul~
That wasn't a once in a lifetime event,
it was a once in football history fairytale that will probably never be repeated.

My favourite lecturer Mr.Alan said to us,
when Liverpool was crowned as the King of Europe that night,
everyone in the city is crazy,
they leave everything behind and just rush out of their house!!!

They were dancing and singing on the streets,
chants and song can be heard everywhere,
they hugged with the strangers (or flagpole) and celebrate until dawn.

It was a cheerful moment.

"Even Everton fans....?," I asked.
"Yes even Everton fans were celebrating, everyone in the city," he said to me.

Before I completed my question,
Alan already knew what I'm trying to say.

Liverpool may not have been the most successful club of the decade but it has undoubtedly been the most magical.

Liverpool supporter have seen things that no one else will ever see,
and these are the things that will live with you forever.

You can ask a Manchester United fans how he felt when MU won the Champions League back in 2008,
then you ask a Liverpool fans how he felt when Gerrard lifted the trophy in Istanbul.

In their eye,
you will see the different,
how they describe their feeling,
the word,
the facial expression,
it is different.

I saw that in Alan's eye,
even he is an Everton fans.

As for me myself, I feelike I was in Istanbul that night,
it was simply incredible,
it's awesome!

Ofcourse,
Manchester United fans, Arsenal fans and Chelsea fans might claim that the Kop will never understand the feeling of lifting a Premier League title.

But for me it doesnt really matter,
I like Liverpool as the way they are,
no people can shake our faith.

Liverpool shows their character as a Comeback King of Noughties,
they never give up,
they keep on fighting,
they still walk on.

Quoted from the movie 'Transformers',

Megatron said to Optimus,
"You still fight for the weak! That's why you lose!"

It remind me of Gerrard and his fellows,
sometime it doesnt really matter if you are fighting for the weaker side,
it makes you greater actually.

p/s: Don't be like Owen!

Yes I admit, during this Noughties, Liverpool was a weaker side.
But we have found Gerrard.

Gerrard is a pure Scouse, that makes him even more lovable.
There is an unexplained and undescribed relationship between him and the club.
People just love him.

This is what Chelsea and Manchester United fans will never understand.
Because every year they got new blood and new star coming,
after Cantona they got Beckham,
after Beckham they got Ronaldo,
after Ronaldo they got Valencia (or Owen?).

You seldom heard a Manchester United fans said he miss Beckham, or he miss Cantona.
Because they have new toys every season.
They can change the favourite player they want to worship as how they wish.

But Gerrard?
No way.
Gerrard is simply a Liverpool legend, he only belong to Liverpool.

Ofcourse, no people can ensure that he will finish his football career in Anfield,
but we all knew how much he meant for Liverpool.

I think it is just fair enough to say that 'Gerrard only belong to Liverpool'.

Back to the Noughties,
Liverpool end the decade with a 1-0 away win at Villa Park,
some might claim that they were lucky,
but for me that was a compensate for what they have been gone thru this season,
that's not too much to ask seriously,
Aston Villa is just a sad victim.

Who shall be include in Liverpool Dream Team of Noughties?
Let's look at the record shall we?

Liverpool top 10 appearances during 2000s (all competitions)

Carragher - 511
Gerrard - 477
Hyypia - 441
Riise - 348

Heskey - 223
Finnan - 217
Murphy - 215

Heskey - 60
Kuyt - 46

Fowler - 33
Hyypia - 33
Riise - 31

Liverpool FC poll result shows the following Dream Team

Personally I think the Dream Team is cool.
But I admit, Michael Owen's contribution is better than Robbie Fowler in the Noughties,
Fowler was great back in 90s but Owen just pissed off the Kop and I am not surprise to see this happen. (in fact Owen dont even give a damn right?)

Patrick Berger and Luis Garcia indeed brought us some memorable moment,
but I think overall Dietmar Hamann and Danny Murphy are greater as they spend most of their career's golden age in Anfield.

Other than that,
this is very convincing.

Liverpool is a place of miracle,
it allows people to dream.

I love Liverpool football club,
I love the city.

The city makes me love the football club even more,
vice versa.

I am proud to be a Liverpool fans,
I am the Kop,
and I shall keep in faith,
untill the day when the title come home.

I LOVE LIVERPOOL!!!

my name is JT a.k.a. Dark Shadow,

good night, and good luck.
